What it is

A bot that answers chat on your website and the messages that arrive through it, at any hour, in your business name. It asks what a person answering the phone would ask, and it books the appointment rather than promising that somebody will be in touch.

It answers by text. It does not pick up the phone. The voice side is the AI Receptionist, which is a different product on a different plan, and this page is careful not to blur the two.

The problem it solves

The messages do not arrive when you are free. They arrive at ten past eight in the evening, while you are eating, and again at six in the morning before you are out. By the time you open the app you are replying to somebody who has already had two other people answer them.

The gap is not rudeness and everybody knows it. It is that the person who most needs a tradesman is the person least willing to wait, and the reply that arrives the same evening is doing something the reply that arrives tomorrow cannot.

Somebody opens the chat on your site and gets an answer in seconds. The bot works out what they need, whether it is the kind of work you take, and where they are. If it fits, it offers a time and books it.

Then it stays on it. A short message goes out before the appointment, so the person who booked at midnight has not forgotten you by Thursday. Everything it says is in your business name, and every conversation lands in one place you can read.

What you have to do
